Nikon addiction problem...

My dad used to impulse buy Nikon Fs on a whim when they were inexpensive
There's a pile of a dozen or so, with about 1/3 Apollo style

He used to work in camera repair, so he got bored one day and Apollo'd a 68xxx s/n Nikon F
A Yashica FX-D he liked to use lost its rewind knob, so he popped on a Nikon F rewind on it

Me? I could use F3s forever, but I already bought my 4th N2000/N2020 body (granted 2 of them are dead...)

Since I switched to Nikon I think I've owned 3 F3s, 1 F4, 3 Nikkormats, 1 FM, 1 FG, 1 D100, 2 D2HSs, 1 D2X and now a D3. I've also had a bunch of F35AFs.

I'm probably about to pull the trigger on a Nikonos kit and then a very nice black paint F2AS. Both cameras that I've wanted to buy for upwards of twenty years.

Don't get me started on lenses...

I would provide a picture but I never put all of mine in one place at the same time. My wife would have a stroke.

Besides that I can quit anytime I want. I've done it dozens of times already.

1) Nikon F - 1959 (in first 9000 made) + F36 MD / battery pack - user but lovely.
2) F2 Chrome / Photomic EX+
3) F3HP - Ex+++
4) F5 - Ex
5) F6 - Mint
6) FE - very nice
7) FM3A - Mint

Must stop buying these as I can only use one at a time and the metered one (especially the F3, F6 and FM3A) are just gorgeous to use.

If you don't count the exotic models, if you had the patience you could probably buy a good example of every major Nikon film body (F, F2, F3, etc.) along with the most classic lenses for about the cost of single Leica MP....
