Nikon F And F2?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask about the dimensions of both the Nikon F (1) and F2.

For example, does the half case for a Nikon F2 fit a F? Also, the case for a Photomic F2 will fit an F with a older Photomic FTn too right?

Actually just got an original F and I'm so exited about it! Haven't even paid for it yet!... (Gotta do it now...)

I have the Nikon CF-1 semi-soft case I believe which is meant for an F2 but I use it on my F1 Photomic without any problems, it may not be a perfect fit, one side of the case fits a little tighter than the other side but I like it

PS. Enjoy your camera, also check the mirror damper when it arrives to see if it has deteriorated and if so contact Jon Goodman (search for him) for a replacement

Ok, thanks a bunch Richard! But I just got some not-so-good news for my Nikon F... I think I will open a new thread for it...
