Nikon F series inter-compatibility

I've got me a nice F3 body that is missing the rewind shaft and knob. Been hunting for the parts to no avail... anyone know if the rewind parts from the F or F2 (which seem to be easier to find) would fit?

Or else, anyone have a junked F3 laying around? 😀
