Nikon F to Canon FD Adapter

Has anyone used one of these?

I didn't know it was even possible. I currently use a N8008s for my 50 shooting, and have a Canon FD 135 2.5 on the way to put on my Canon Ft QL for portraits. It would be great to shoot both on one camera.

The "flange-back" distance of a Canon FD/FL bodied camera is narrower than that of a Nikon SLR making it possible to mount Nikon SLR lenses on a Canon FD/FL body. Canon, many years ago, made the "Lens Mount Converter N" just for this purpose. Note though, while you will be able to mount a Nikon lens on your Canon, the lens will have to be operated 100% manually.

Thanks Jim. This is going to work out great, since I'm used to shooting w/ stopped down metering anyway (like the Canon FL lenses). Bye bye N8008s. A great camera, but having my Nikon and Canon lenses work on one body is the way to go. It's unfortunate that the Canon lens won't work on the Nikon body, but that's not going to happen w/o an optical element in an adapter.
