I'm asking this out of pure curiosity. Does the Nikon F2 film advance lever fit on a Nikon rangefinder? More specifically a Nikon S3. I use my S3 more as a daily shooter but I do like the feeling of the F2's lever when advancing the film. Sometimes when using the S3, there are times when I advance the film lever, but it does not advance and cock the shutter completely before ratcheting back. I had the idea, that maybe, if I use a f2 advance lever on my S3, that maybe, I won't have that problem. And the added bonus will be that the film advance mechanism feel better when in use.. Anyway, it's just a thought. Have any of you guys tried this?

No. But you can swap a Nikon F "Apollo" type lever. It is not uncommon to see this mod. I think it will stick out though.
You can always give the lever two short strokes instead of one long one to advance the film, if the distance is too far for you.

Your link results in an "403 Error" but my Shintaro black paint Nikon SP was sporting an Apollo lever and F titanium shutter. These conversions seem to be possible at least for the SP. However, my S2 also has an F titanium shutter installed.
FYI there are few different versions of plastic tipped levers out there that look like Apollo levers but aren't. Kiitos was selling some for a while. They fit the Nikon F and S3, S4 and SP, but have a slimmer profile than a genuine Apollo lever so don't stick out as far when mounted on a Nikon RF.
Titanium curtains can be installed in any Nikon RF. Kiitos uses NOS Nikon F3 curtains. They need to be trimmed to the right size though as Nikon SLR curtains are too long to be used as is in a Nikon RF body.
