Nikon F2 Gas

Nicely done. Good looking F2S & mid-production, "K" type 55/1.2, IMHO an existing light kit that's hard to beat. :)
Thank you Mike, that lens has been in our family for a long time, my uncle recalled buying it right when the Nikon introduced AI lens. He said he could bought a 50 1.4 AI for the same price, but he chose the 55 1.2 NAI. :)
One of mine, the black paint on the titanium models is far tougher stuff than they put on the standard black cameras, and it is not easily scratched or worn off,

I have half s dozen or so black Nikon F cameras with plain prisms, three or four plain prism F2 bodies, and a dozen or so photomics... My name is Jeff, and I am a Nikonoholic...
Hello Jeff, nice to meet you. :D

F2 body (griptac'd by a previous owner), DE finder, AR-1 softie, and 5.8cm f/1.4 Nikkor-S. A great grab-and-go combo.
Mean looking kit!! ;)

Like your F2/T Jeff - respect...!

I think, that the titaniumbodys should be brushed free from paint so that one can feel the pure titanium.
That was Nikon's solution to people complaining about the champagne F3/Ts paint peeling

I personally like the black epoxy paint
It keeps the camera being Titanium our little secret

I got my 1974 F2 yesterday, came with the DP-11 finder and a DE-1 finder, everything had a CLA at Sover Wong some months ago. Nice leather case for the DE-1, ISO flash shoe (AS-1), extra matte screen and a AR-1 soft shutter release. All for 500 $, not bad...?
