Nikon F2 Photomic DP-2 repair

My DP-2 metering finder has stopped changing speeds. No matter what speed I select it always shows 1/30. I have opened the part of the finder under the speed selector and I see a thread loose. Is this a easy fix? Should I open the rest of the finder to connect it to somewhere?

I have emailed him just to confirm that he will accept repairing it. I love my F2 too much to make a mess of it by myself.
