Good Morning Ladies and Gents,

I have the opportunity to pickup a beautiful, black Nikon FM2n locally for (what is in my opinion) a price that is too low to pass on. The camera itself is in fine cosmetic and working shape except for one small detail - the rewind knob is missing the little lever.

The rewind knob is totally intact including the shaft - Does anyone know where I can source just the aforementioned lever? I have found a few total rewind assemblies for sale (knob, lever, shaft) but I would prefer to spend less on the lever only if it is possible! As always, any help is greatly appreciated :)

Have you tried eBay?

Do a search for "NIKON FM2 SERIES REWIND KNOB - NON NIKON PART / UK SUPPLIER"

Buy a broken or not FM or FE and use that as a donor body. I just bought a perfect FM w lens for $20.

Weird that there is an aftermarket replacement part for it. Is it that common that they break?
For $20 I'd just buy a broken donor kamwah.

B-9's offer sounds great.

My FE2 needed a rewind knob due to the lever return spring having broken/gone missing. If you don't mind the slightly different look, I found the knob from a Pentax Spotmatic parts camera works perfectly.

Regards,
David

Thanks for the reply! I did see that, but decided to pass on it for now. I'd like to grab an OEM part and that part being in the UK, it would cost me just as much to grab a donor body by the time shipping kicks in.

Regardless, I appreciate the comment!

If I can't find an appropriate replacement then that's what I will do! Fortunately bythe sounds of it, B-9 has what I need
