In an early scene of Batman V Superman, a photographer accompanies Lois Lane to interview a warlord in the desert. The photographer holds a smallish camera that looks like a rangefinder, which is taken from him by one of the warlord's security detail. The camera is opened, with the back of the camera sliding off in a single piece, rather like this:

The lens is silver with a black hood section but seems to extend, with a narrow section in the middle. The button and shutter cock lever arrangement seem to match Nikon RF's on the internet.

Has anyone seen BvS, and can you identify the film camera used in this scene?

Yes, I saw BvS yesterday and it was a Nikon Rangefinder, it was black and it looked
great. Could not tell if it was a SP or S3 which I have. May have to see it a second
time to tell.

Thanks! I'm not very familiar with Nikon rangefinders, although I had a hunch that it might be a Nikon, so I did some searches for how film is loaded in them. You don't really expect to see an old Nikon RF in a modern movie, let alone a big budget action film.

Zack Snyder has a Leica M Monochrom, so it may have been his suggestion to use a more obscure film camera.
