Nikon S2 eyepiece lens

Does anyone know of a way to do eyepiece correction on a Nikon S2? I am looking for -2 or -3 diopters.

I once saw a link to a company that could provide an adapter that enabled the use of hyperexpensive Leitz diopters, but that is probably not the road I want to follow. Any ideas?

Yes, the original part seems to be unfindable, but I am hoping to find a way to use a part that doesn't cost a hundred times its weight in myrrh.

Looks like it is time to exercise the ol' Bodger Powers again.
