Nikon S2 short vs long pressure plate

Hello, have any of you detected any difference operationally between the short vs long pressure plate of a Nikon S2?

Presumably the backs are interchangeable.

And I assume that in-the-day, some users got the short one replaced by the long one (due to damage, repair, etc).

The long pressure plate usually has the later bottom in the camera with relocated attachment screws . This bottom plate ( it has the tripod socket in it ) and the longer pressure plate are sp type features . Introduced in late chrome dial cameras 617xxxx. On all black dial cameras .
