I followed the links to the images in dropbox. Very nice, babaky. New arrival indeed - still sitting on the bubble wrap!
All the levers stick out I just feel the Apollo lever is much more user friendly.
The standard lever doesn't stick out so far that there's a gap between it and the body. Its that gap where my shirt kept getting caught. Besides that, the Apollo lever is nicer to use though.

This thread isn't helping me curb my desire for a S3 Olympic - the titanium curtains (read "no solar pinholes") are about enough to tip me over the edge. I've wanted a Nikon RF for decades, and I should do it before I remarry.

This is an example of the "Grandfathered Clause"
"Honey, but I've always had a red sports car"
"Honey, I've always owned a titanium curtained Nikon RF"
Do it Ken!
I'm also drooling over this, but busy digesting my latest GAS purchases

I would love that lens hood

It really does complete the look (and I'm sure works perfectly as intended).
I feel the same way with OEM hoods from Leica, Zeiss and Voigtlander. Using cheap knock off hoods with them is like wearing flip flops with a nice suit.
Gorgeous looking camera.

The hood looks better than it holds

Yeah, I don't do clip-on hoods - they Sputnik at the slightest provocation.

Maybe cheap ones. Here the Leica 12504 tenaciously holds onto the weight of a chrome brass 35mm Summicron Asph (much heavier than the aluminum black one) and the 'slender' M240.

I should have clarified, but I meant in the context of this thread - Nikon clip-on hoods.

Sure, nothing nicer than a black and expensive Leitz/Leica lens having its nose totally marred by the 12585 or 12504 hoods clips (and all the other ones sharing that funny design since the ITDOO) after a short while.

Does not mar. Perhaps u used one of those ebay knock offs?
What does mar is the OEM hood that came with my Leica 90mm Macro Elmar M. That has worn off the paint on the ring just in front of the aperture ring.

When I do use a hood I just use a cheap ebay 43mm one, until one day I happen upon a cheap original!
