I doubt a NON-Ai nikkor will work - seems to me they don't work on any of ther D series. It has to do with the aperture ring hitting the AI ring. Check with Nikon first

D'oh!
As long as you're comfortable with the 5 minute limit per clip because of sensor heat. Have fun! I like the 105/2.5, too.

Thanks for your inquiry.
You will need my Type B conversion ($35 plus return shipping) in order to use it on the new body. You will not have any TTL metering but will be able to make the settings in the M mode and see the results immediately. You will also have what Nikon calls "electronic rangefinder." It is a signal in the viewfinder when the lens is in focus.
My conversion will not affect the use of the lenses on any of your older bodies.
Details and an order blank are on the Prices and Shipping page of my website.
Thanks, again. I am looking forward to serving you. Turnaround time should be no more than a few days.

Hello John,
I'm writing to you because I'm buying a D90 nikon and may need an AI conversion or 2 done.
Just want to be sure you're still in the market and find out what the normal turnaround might be.
Thank you,
MIke
