Nikon SLR Repair Service (Or maybe DIY?)

I have a Nikon FE2 and the AI index tab doesn't return after stopping down. I believe the spring that connected the ring to something is either broken of disconnected. Does anyone know if this is an easy fix and where I could get an extra spring? Alternatively, does anyone have any recommendations to get a Nikon SLR repaired?

Just hooking up that spring is trivial. It can be done from the front, and has to be done any time the mount has to be taken off (for cleaning or re-tightening) - there are several pages and videos on the net going through that.

Thanks for the tip. One of the screws in the mount is on real tight, I'm not certain I can get it off without stripping it. If I can't does anyone have a repair man to recommend?
