I have a Nikon SP with a bent (?) back. Extremely difficulty to get it back on. Have been surfing to find a donor back to no avail. Is it my imagination or does an early Nikon F back work?
a proper original SP back of correct vintage to match your camera will be difficult to find.
Nikon SP's and Nikon F's have different, non interchangeable backs.

You can use a back from an S3 or S4, in addition to the SP. The F is much bigger than the SP. The SP is about the same size as a Nikon FM.

You can also fit a Nikon S2 back as per above.

Bent backs can often be straightened. Not that I have tried to improve a SP back. But I have saved a few other types (Contax, Rollei, Alpa, Zeiss et al) with the deft use of some basic tools, and a surface plate. True, they will not always be as good as when new, but can frequently be made usable again. This is not an option for the one you have?I have a Nikon SP with a bent (?) back. DAG can probably bend it back into shape for you
