I have just become the happy owner of a really nice SP user. About the only thing really wrong with it is a crack in the finder glass. It's in the frosted area for the frame lines, so it's not much of a problem, but if I can find the part, I will replace it, as it's an easy job.
I tried calling Nikon US, figuring the part from the 2005 re-issue would fit, but they said they could not supply it!
Does anybody out there know where I can find a replacement finder window for my SP?

Dez, a repair place just down the road from my office has them. And in fact they are reissue parts. Helps that the guys who run the repair place (Kiitos) used to work for Nikon

Forgot to mention, they don't sell to overseas customers but I can get the part for you and send it over. From memory, the glass piece alone was 2,500 yen.
