I've never tried contact lenses and given how much trouble I have with eye drops I doubt that I would do well with them. So as with other cameras, I use what I can in terms of diopter correction and push my glasses down my nose to see with the correction over the finder and bring them back up to see f/stops, shutter speeds, DOF scales, etc. It isn't perfect but it works. With my Pentax DSLRs I can see the whole finder so I have the diopter set for viewing through glasses. And with my Contax rangefinders I usually use the Zeiss 440 post war finder that has diopter correction after focusing with my glasses through the normal finder. Rubber O rings around the finder of the cameras protect my glasses from scratching, so I can work as I need to.
