Can anyone recommend a repair shop for my Nikon SP and lenses? They haven't been used in probably 25 years and I suspect they need some work before being used. They belonged to my dad and I would like to try to get them in a condition where I can use them.

What I have:

Nikon SP No. 6218501
50/1.1 No. 141843 (the outer ring is dented in 2 places)
35/2.5 No. 264186
105/2.5 No. 813073

Thanks.

Might be ok as they are, shine a flash light through the lens with the iris wide open, if they are crystal clear you are probably ok, spiders web or condensation send off PDQ. The body is more difficult, wind on (the lever) and fire if it clicks, try 1/15 of a second, if it clicks clicks repeatedly and exactly the same, then it is put a film in and shoot op the neighbourhood, good...

I agree,I sent my S2 and lens to Pete Smith who did a excellent job on a CLA , he was very quick in the turn around and charged a fair price.

Definitely try it out and shoot a roll of film through it first. Nikons are especially good at being just fine after sitting for 10 or 20 years. They are anything but finicky.
