Is there such a thing? I keep looking at the CV 50mm heliar in nikon mount. (sure aint finding one in M mount.) Is there any way to macgyver this thing onto my leica?
They are even more expensive that the Contax to M adapters that you see. Not as many parts Nikon RF's going around. The Contax Helical is slightly different in pitch.
Buy the VC Nokton in LTM and use an LTM to M adapter. That will run under $50 for the adapter rather than ~$500 or more.
yup. I'd need coupling. I figured this was a fool's errand but felt it was worth a shot. I already have a nice summicron in 50. I've heard such good things about the heliar though I'd love to try it out. Can't find it anywhere for M mount.
Try Stpehen's site cameraquest -i use one of his Nikon F-Leica-M adapters with rangefinder coupling takes a bit of practice but works well for me with a Nikkor 50 1.2 AI-S. Not cheap but i notice they've been reduced in price.
