NIMSLO 3D annimations

While the lenticular printing is a thing of the past, you can print the out side pair to create a classic Holmes format stereocard which could then be viewed with an appropriate viewer or, if you have the ability, naked eye.

I do fairly well naked eye, but using a true Holmes style (e.g. Underwood & Underwood, custom made, lorgnette,...) viewer makes it easier.

Check out these guys for viewers:

I've found that this inexpensive lorgnette works well:

I've never really liked the bi-color "anaglyph" images and viewers (e.g. red-green, red-cyan, green-magenta, ...), but Berezin offers those as well. There is software around the create the images, just google "anaglyph software".

The stereo images I've done in recent years has all been done in Photoshop using a template I created to align the images to the Holmes spec. The resulting prints are 3.5x7" and fit the old standard viewers. This pair was shot with my old Nikon CP8400 using a sliding rail to align the two shots. Dealing with the waving flag required some "Photoshop magic", something that printing from the Nimslo's outside pair won't require.
