I recently had my black Contax G2 and 45mm lens overhauled by Nippon Photoclinic in NYC, and I couldn't be more pleased. Yes, it was pricey, but to me knowing the camera's condition was worth what I might pay for a replacement of unknown condition. All in all, it took 7 business days, and Daniel was great to deal with.

I'm trying to stay away from any new stuff. But that G2 is very tempting. You may have sealed my fate; knowing there is a place that will work on them. Thanks for the information.
