No diffuser dome for light meter... HALP!

hi all,

i obtained a Minolta Flash Meter IV recently only to find that it only came with a reflected metering disk and NO dome for incident metering :bang:

i was wondering if anyone knew of a quick DIY thats effective enough for me to use for my trip this weekend?

i cant find any place online that sells these domes individually... hopepfully someone's been in my shoes before and can help me out.

Minolta used to sell the domes seperately as replacement parts. I bought one once to replace one I lost on my Autometer IIIF. You might try Ebay. The dome was about $20 new, and I bought it at a local camera store. Most stores that sold Minolta meters kept the spare domes in stock, it wasnt something you had to call Minolta to buy.

I think I actually saw replacement domes and disks on B&H's website last week. I'm missing mine for an Auto III.
