No Enlarger For Me...

Moving to Halifax from semi-rural BC, I had thought that used darkroom supplies would be found here in abundance.
How wrong I was. It seems that any lead I pick up ends in disappointment. The various used listing sites are nearly devoid of wet-printing paraphernalia. Nobody has an enlarger for me... Will I be relegated to digi-printing forever?

Does anyone know of a small (portable?) model I could look for online? I know the Durst F30 is tiny...
I don't want a 35-only setup, but at the same time... Who wants to pay the shipping for an enlarger bought out-of-province?
This is half-request, half moaning at my situation. Bear with me, guys 🙂

Try putting a little want ad up wherever possible (you know, those file index cards in supermarkets and the like). I'd be amazed if somethng didn't crawl out of the woodwork. Something like, BEGINNER SEEKS PHOTOGRAPHIC ENLARGER AND DARKROOM EQUIPMENT. 'Photographic' may help avoid embarrassing and irrelevant e-mails.

I started with the Omega C700, which I think is quite compact, especially next to my newer Beseler 67c. The C700 goes up to 6x7, I believe.

I bought my 135/120 enlarger off ebay from a guy in NS. I lucked into my LF enlarger locally... there are around and don't be afraid to get them shipped.

Pickings are slim out here on the East Coast. Patience is the key, for sure. Kijiji will email you on alert words, so it's worth sticking it out. Hfx is likely the best city in the maritimes to net used gear in. Drop me a line if you're ever up Saint John way.

Wow, thanks for the replies and offers, everyone. Haven't been on the computer for the last couple days or I would've posted.
I think that patience might just be my best bet after all. I've put up a couple WTB ads. Sooner or later, the right person will come along.
In the meantime, I have been reading about DIY enlargers and am intrigued. I might try to bash together a ghetto setup 🙂
