Just have been saved from adding to the 'waiting for the mail' thread - someone else bid more 🙂

The almost mint M2 for which yesterday I knew it would be MINE! 😀 went for 1025 $..

Yes I must admit the IIIf is a bit too zen like for some use cases so I'm planning on getting something modern like an M2.. but for a grand..

Needed to write off my frustration that I cannot add to the other thread, sorry!

I know of one for sale for $1200 WITH a 35mm Summicron (pre-asph), if you are interested. I don't know the seller well, but I've spoken to her, seen the flyer up in my lab for a while. Still unsold four days ago- let me know if you want me to pass on the info.

Urghhh! Same for me, I bid on a 28mm super takumar screw mount lens, lost it by 50 cents. Auction had ended around 5am my time, so wasn't able to bid last minute.😱

You never know how much the 'winner' bid, Kat, so maybe you would still have been second if you were awake.. Imagine that, sitting there and not being able to fall asleep again because of the thoughts going through you head.. 😉

Ups, I wrote the wrong price, the first one went for 1025 Euro, which is almost 1300 US $.. Glad I lost that auction actually!
