No more a la carte?

Just when I finally decided to order an a la carte MP, I get word back from my dealer that the program has been suspended temporarily and they don't know when it will resume.

Anyone else heard the same? Major bummer if it is not resumed. Exactly the reason why I wanted to get one now - in case the manufacturing would stop.

Well, the Leica on-line configurator for the a la carte program seems to be willing to allow you to configure a camera, with no warnings about the program being suspended. [Not that this means very much ...]

Perhaps it's just your dealer. I like the online camera configurer. I have spent time there making cameras I will never be able to afford!

the Ala Carte is thru select dealers, not all dealers, PopFlash still shows it

Me too, real fantasy stuff.
I like the idea of having my signature on the top of this. I think it would cost me over £3000....yikes. Never in a million years would I have 3k kicking around for a body only.
