I've left a message and e-mailed JOBO USA sales about some spare parts that I need. The plastic column inside my 8-reel tank has cracks where the pieces join. It's hard to visualize if you don't have one. Nevertheless, I do not seem to be able to raise a live human at JOBO USA. So I call B&H to try to order the parts. "Discontinued" I am told. (!!?!) They still sell the 8-roll tank, though. For $US 89.00. Presumably it has the internal column. So I bought one. But boy, talk about vanishing without a trace. Anyone else have an issue tracking down a bricks and mortar old-tech company. No Polaroid cracks, pls.

I beleive that JOBO has closed its US office.
This was done sometime last year.
Their product line will be handled by an agent.
Try some of the UK equipment sites for JOBO parts. I did, and found a wealth of parts and information and at reasonable prices too.

You know their website: http://www.jobo.com/web/jobo_usa.375.0.html?
As last resort there are many dealers here in Germany selling Jobo parts. Just ask one of them, if he ships to USA. If it is the current series of tanks, this should be no problem.

Ben:
I had the same experience about a year ago. Omegasatter is now the US distributor for all Jobo darkroom products. They do have all the former Jobo USA inventory, although when it runs out, we are all SOL!
