...Would anybody be interested in adding a CL to their camera collection if Leica and/or Minolta offered a half frame version? They have an f/2 40mm lens and the Pen F offered an f/1.8 38mm or an f/1.4 40mm lens.

Maybe if it were smaller, Al; the size of an Olympus Pen D2 or D3. Those had a 32mm f/1.9 as I recall, and needed a rangefinder... I could go for something like that. 🙂

I eventually decided an RF and twice the frame-size in only a slightly larger camera was attractive and transitioned to an Oly 35RC. And then when the Minolta CLE came out it was again only slightly larger and far more capable. I still love the CLE. How about we petition for 72-exposure rolls of film, like the briefly offered Ilford HP5?
