I have been trying to find some good videos about Leica Ms. But it's mostly some tradeshow announcement of the M8 or something I find. Nothing really interesting.

I don't know if there is a thread about Leica vids allready. Otherwise it would be great if You could post some vids in here for all M fans to enjoy.

Here is one to get things started:

I'm surprised Bruce Gilden hasn't been beaten to death with his own camera by now ... he's got some front! 😛

Sheesh...Hope I never run across him because I would have to call for bail money after I decked that crazy SOB! My son once jumped in front me in the house and I decked him just from a quick reaction so I just know this confrontation would be worse! If I had a moment to even think about it, I would kick his a** for being such an a**!

Bum or not... He makes great photos... I don't care how he gets them... It's what is photo... But flash is a little bit cruel...🙄

Ive been going to NYC frequently since birth as my family is from Manhattan and Queens and i feel New York is not the place it used to be. Though With the recent financial situation it is starting to feel as it was and not some gentrified soft shadow of its former self. When people are under pressure a different side of society shows, and let me tell you running up and flashing your expensive camera in the face of a guy trying to sell you coke, weed, stolen goods ect. because he has no other choice, you are going to get your a$$ beat. Im just saying if you want to get the real street, the street people dont normally want to see, you have to use very discreet methods. camoflauged cameras, concealment of cameras under clothes, using only scale focus and guessing exposure on intuition are some of the methods I have been experimenting with the last few weeks and have been getting good negatives with good composition. But the real test is taking what i have learned to the street as this whole M system is new to me.

Nah -- Ny'ers aren't that nastier or jumpy than anyone else. It is all hype (lived there twice). Like most places, a quick smile after a shot that is a bit in the face (or the old, look through them with the -- no, no, I am taking a shot of that thing over there -- look) works most of the time and no one really cares. I imagine you'd have a whole lot more issues sticking a camera in front of someone's face in small town America. Actually I don't have to imagine -- I have lived there too. Big cities people have too many other things to look at and worry about than some nutty photographer person that thinks they are worthy of a shot.

That made me think of Winogrand. He just looks like he doesn't know how to operate a camera.
