Noctilux 1.0 and M9

The dark corners (falloff) on the 50/1 at f/1 is actually intentional in it's design to reduce other more objectional aberrations. If the lens focuses correctly at f/1 on the M9, that's more important. Digital M bodies are much more finicky on exact focus issues, so if your's is correct, count your blessings and enjoy the lens.
 
It's not that bad. I shoot f/1 with M9 all the time and like the vignetting.

This is what you get with 3 stop ND filter on top of UV filter (I'm too lazy to remove uv before attaching nd).

I'm currently in the process of selling my M-Hexanon 50/1.2 on eBay, but this thread makes me wanna keep it once more... :(

I got a university education to fund, and an M3 DS rangefinder to have repaired, so its gotta go... sob ;)
