Has anyone had experience of these 2 high speed optics? I already own a Noctilux and would be interested to learn how the Voigtlander optic compares.
Many thanks

I've shot with the 35mm f/1.2.
So far as sharpness goes, I wasn't terribly impressed. Not a bad lens, though. Takes nice pictures. Flare: if you are used to the Noc, you'll probably be surprised- the Nokton certainly has greater suceptibility to it.

I just got a new 35/1.2 Nokton. Unfortunately I haven't run a full roll behind it yet. It is very nicely constructed, especially considering the current price.
Interestingly, one of the reasons I bought it was because of all the comments I read from users that indicate it is exceptionally flare resistant, different than jdos2's experience. I hope that's not an indication of degree of variability of its quality. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
