Noctilux f/1 vs EF 50/1.0

Don't know if it deserves a new thread, but since isaac brought up the comparison of f/1 glasses in the long CV thread, I figured this comparison could be interesting to some.

I have both a Noctilux and the Canon EF 50/1.0. They draw very differently. when wide open (the only way to shoot fast glass)

see if you can tell which is which

I would guess the first is the Leica - due to the coma. But the banding in the second almost made me guess it was from the M8. 🙂

That bad banding usually only shows up with the Canon when you really push it in ACR. Gotta be the EF50 at some really high effective ISO.
