Which is better on the M6 and why? Will the F1 be impossible to focus vs the newer model?

I've an F1, no problem with focus on my M6, M240/246, even my bessa R2m, perfect.

The f/1 is significantly smaller which makes it much nicer on film bodies.
f/1 works well, but at close distances keep to f/1 or f/4 and above to avoid focus shift.
Alternatively the MS optical Sonnetar is super compact - a good match for film cameras.

Is it worth sending into Leica for a calibration upon getting one? Or just learning how to use it and focus as best as I can?
