Also posted some similar shoots with Hexanon F1.2 on Konica site.
Great shots - I like these better than ones from Hexanon. Not sure if its the composition or the lens, just prefer these.

I love film but with the baby, I can't really keep up shooting film and developing manually... so I bought the M8 for family shots.
I already loved the Noctilux but on the M8 I'm speechless! Look at this shot, wide open. The contrast is unbelievable and the sharpness is beyond reproach. This is f1.0!!!
Everything has already been said on the Noctilux, but I'll never stop being amazed. It is worth every penny, more then ever.
And I still prefer it on film ;-)
Here is a 100% crop saved Jpeg quality-level 8. Nabad!

Thanks maddoc and krosya. I found M7+ Noctilux is a pretty awesome combo. I have more time to focus that helps me a lot to produce a sharper pictures.

Gabor,
You have to post more and more! Good mysterious shot. So now you're looking for a 0.58? I almost went for one but then I decided for a M7 o.72

Ned,
thank you
I would post some more shots with the Noctilux if a) I would take some more and better photos and b) I could develop and scan faster ....
Your photos have raised the bar very high
About the M7 .... I almost gave up to look for an 0.58x model. I keep the M6 TTL 0.85x for the Noctilux and might go with an M7 in 0.72x for either the Summilx 35mm or as second body for the Noctilux.
thank you

Ned,
I must tell you that the Noctilux is the worst lens leica ever made. This is documented by many famous photographers, like Nadar. He in fact, wrote in the British journals of photography, and submitted photos to prove his point. Oddly enough I can't find the link to prove my point. Also, Henry Fox Talbot, also had similar finding, and the debate between Emerson and Robinson finally ended when they both agreed that the Noctilux was the worst lens ever made. They said it was too modern and too fast.
BTW what kind of film are you using?

Ned, thank you
The yellow guys look weird like me, so I thought a photo of my brothers would be nice
The other (Rolleiflex) is at f/8.0 with studio-lighting. Never tried that before

Here's something different. Not too many wildlife shots in this thread, but here's one, f1, 1/30 over a stream.
When I blow it up I can get it to Genus, and that was sharp enough for me.
I'm glad you two are keeping it alive, don't let the tools keep you down!
