Gregory, that yellow Chevy is pretty cool and fits your colors!

I went for one M9 now as well - it was quite a stomach decision, being in Paris, actually wanting to shoot the Le Mans 24h with M8.2 and film, but ended up, buying a M9 after having compared shots at high ISO - incredible camera.

Nice effect is, that the Noctilux indeed is soo much nicer on the M9 than on the M8.2 ;-)

These shots were taken after I just stepped into a kitchen in one of the small alleyways in Shanghai.
The cook was first surprised and then went on to not shy away from showing some work with his tools …

Here are a few recent shots, I took with my favorite lens - the Noctilux f1:

When I go out, to shoot the night, the Noctilux is always on one of the bodies, mostly the 35 Lux ASPH on the other, which pairs ok.

Gotta say, I don't like the daytime color shots from the M9 and Noctilux combo...

This lens really adds to shots made in B&W but the daytime contrast and the color take so much away from those shots!

Love the atmosphere and the framing, Gabor, feel like something of a diptych. In fact, it seems to be a common theme in quite a few of your beautiful noctilux shots (I'm a long time lurker), that frame-within-a-frame, in-through-the-window, ghost on the streets feeling (maybe a theme for a future monograph?). Really magical and proof that however special the signature of this lens is, it takes a poetic eye to really bring out the best in it.

Recently got hold of a 1975 E58 copy in really minty condition, after several years of dreaming about owning one (this thread being a major reason why). Gratuitous lens pr0n ahoy:

Our kid was just born, so I haven't had as much chance to shoot it as I'd like yet (and will spare you a deluge of newborn pics), but am looking forward to hitting the night streets soon. A couple of quick early shots here:
