nokton 40/1.4

i heard that nokton 40 is 43mm lens. that sounds pretty good, because it is close to 50mm so i thought outer edges of framelines can be used for composing with it.
i was wondering if someone with m8 or rd1 can help me. c
can you shoot three photos one with 35mm lens, one with nokton 40, and one with 50mm lens? i would like to compare FOV of those focal lengths.
also can nokton users upload some photos made with this lens here.

The angle of view of the 40mm (56°) is closer to that of a 35mm lens (63°) than a 50mm (46°).

i was wondering - if it is possible to use it on a camera without 40mm framelines. i thought it would be ok if it reallly is 43mm(there are rumors that it is) since there is only a small difference compared to 50mm FOV.

I'm using it on a Leica M5 which has only 35mm and 50mm framelines. I tried using it with the 50mm framelines at first and am now using it with the 35mm framelines. Framelines tend to be too narrow anyway, so the FOV of the 40 fits in the 35mm framelines quite nicely. I do have to remember to be a bit conservative about framing but it works well in practice, much better than with the 50mm framelines.

I like it too on my R2M, and I find it easier to think slightly inside the 35mm frameline.

That whole album is using the 40mm Nokton, it seems to suffer from some underexposure, though. My lens are typically close to wide open (1.4-2.8, I do not remember every particular shot).
