Non-latching rewind button on FE2

I got an FE2 from Roberts a couple weeks ago. It's in good shape overall and it even has recent seals and mirror damper.

But the film rewind button on the bottom doesn't latch: as soon as I start to rewind the film, it pops back out again.

I could request a return, but I don't really want to do that if the repair is not very involved.

Yes, so it's not critical, but it is sub-optimal.
