Well,
Since many of us also shoot with cameras that are not rangefinders, I have created a gallery just for such images. Please post your non RF pictures in this appropriate gallery. If you have time to move existing pictures there please do so.
Anyway,
RFF is here to please
Enjoy the site.

Interesting idea. I can't speak for the other members, but I think it's a good addition to the regular site.

Joe,
Think Nikon FM. Small, light, inexpensive these days, all-manual, and the only Nikon Ever to use Gallium Arsenide Photo-Detectors. OOOhhh. Gallium Arsenide!

Good choise on the FA Joe. I have 3 of them, but I would look at a new FM3A. Since all of the FA's are getting long in the tooth and there is little support for their electonics as they succomb to old age.
I would also look at the Nikon F3HP if you do not do a lot of fill flash outdoors. Just my opinion of course.

oh great, another can of worms!
i thought the fm3a was kinda pricey new.
i've read great things about the fa and the fm was the first camera i thought of. (well, after a t90)

Are there any other Olympus OM SLR users here or am I flying solo??
My OM-1's are still mint and lovely cams to use. No electronics other than the meter. Great size and weight for an SLR. I love using the Zuiko 100mm 2.8 with these units.

or was that a 100 mm i had with that outfit?
Lets not forget. This is RFF NOT SLRF
So, the non RFF stuff is simply for the gallery. To discuss non RF issues on this forum, I will need to receive $5.00 from each member

I have a funny feeling the gallery will be moving at the speed of light now, or at least 5 fps ( some SLR's come with motor drives
)

Hey, I have a 370s and a SRT myself, SRTs make great inexpensive manual SLRs. Great cheap Minolta glass available and lots of M42 lenses via a very cheap adapter ring.
I know this is the RFF but... this is a great addition Jorge !
Gene, you're not alone, but maybe at a higher plane than I with my OM-G.
But for non-RFs I'm basically a Pentax guy, with a round dozen of them in 4 lens mounts and 3 film formats.

Gene,
I had an OM-1, OM-2n, and OM-2s but when I was burglarized I lost them. I then bought a Nikon FA at the local camera store as they did not carry Olympus and I started building my Nikon system.
Jorge, the $5 check is in the mail.

O.K.
I uploaded an image into the "Non-RF" gallery that was not taken with a rangefinder, it didn't feel right. I don't know what it is but I felt like I was cheating or something (call me kooky
). I'm gonna stick to the "old ways", RF pics only, maybe I'll warm up to it later.

Hi Jorge,
The $5.00 is in the mail. For Gene, no, you are not the only Olympus user. I have both an OM 10 and an OMG that I like to use, but mostly I stick to my Pentax equipment.

Very cool. I've just gotten back from being dragged out camping :bang: :bang: :bang:
(Sorry, grew up on a farm, spent 16 years in the green and find nothing relaxing about it)
Anyhow, there was a nice waterfall there. I burned a roll of TriX at 800 w/ an orange filter (as the light was c&#&. Even borrowed a friends much heavier tripod and watched the mirror bounce that sucker sensless... There are real advantages to RFs. Gah, I _need_ a Mamiya 6...
Thank God for mirror lockup.) through my Mamiya 645E and when I get it back I'll now have a place to post something from it where I can trust the commentary. Thank you so very much for giving me a place where I know I can trust the commentary on my non-rf images. Got some shots from my GSN too, so I'll even be on topic with those.
Thanks again!
Oh, Jorge, do you have a paypal for the $5? I'd rather pay you and occasionally talk all kinds than many other places.
