I will list the smugmug link to my photos from the recent two week trip to France (Nice and Avignon) and Italy (Genova, Padova, Venice, Cinque Terre). No editing has been yet done to any of these images. I will have to do this part later this month, hopefully. I have lots of work at the university, and I need to take care of these tasks first.

I used the 35/1.4 Summilux for most images that were taken with the M9.
I will start with the M9 then:

Here are photos taken with the iPhone 6.

I took each day about 36 photos with each camera and phone, so like one roll of film per camera per day. Sort of.

Thanks Keith. We may have visited three or four of the villages. Robert and his wife were there too. He will know for sure.

We didn't visit all the five villages, it was too crowded and too hot, to energy consuming!
Therefore we left Vernazza and Corniglia for Raid's next visit in Italy :)
Riad, not seen yet all the photos but found a beautiful portrait with keyword 454 epl1 ! Bravo!

Almost all posted images so far were taken within 24 hours with the M9 and the 35/1.4 Summilux. It is a slice of what we all experienced during the two week trip.

[Happy Father's Day!]

These were two days well spent at Portevenere and Cinque Terre.

I had no negative experiences at all this summer as related to camera equipment. Last summer, the M9 crashed towards the end of the trip. I had Leica then replace sensor and board. This year, the M9 worked beautifully.

The Zeiss 54/2 is a dream lens. On the E-PL1 it is a 90mm lens that is outstanding.

The iPhone camera is excellent.
