Going to Northern Ireland tomorrow for a week's holiday...photographically, I'm gonna be travelling light seeing as myself, wife and two 4-year-olds are going too 🙄.

Definitely taking the E500 & 17-45mm. Can't make my mind up which film camera to take to put the slide-film in!

Either:

OM4Ti & 50mm F/1.8 or 28mm F/2.8
OR
35SP (has 42mm F/1.7 attached)

Any thoughts on the combo?

(As an aside, who said you take less kit with digital? I want to pack everything into my small three-compartment Billingham and I can't find room for an additional lens cos one compartment is taken up with charger & spare batteries for the E500. If I wasn't taking the E500 I could fit 6-8 36-exp films in the same space and two lenses in the compartment I'm putting the E500 in. That's not mentioning the laptop I have to take with me cos my one-and-only memory-card only holds 39 shots at high res S-HQ JPG...)

The 4ti and the 28mm, why, because this is not covered by your E500. I just returned from holiday in Mesa Verde, Co, USA, and the one lens I used the most is the Color Skopar 28 on the Bessa R and the 28mm on the Minolta Maxxum 4. I had others but these two took most of the photos.

was thinking with regards to ultimate quality, I've still never really come to a definite conclusion over which lens (zuiko OM 50mm F/1.8 or 35SP 42mm F/1.7) is the better performer. I may go with the SP because it's lighter than the Ti and that equals a lighter bag 😎 .
