Does anyone have any experience with one of these light meters ? Just picked one up for little money on a certain auction site , unfortunately without the incident cone or heliovalve , but from reading a copy of the manual there not needed for reflected light readings . That aside , a good buy or a nice ornament for the fireplace ?

thanks in advance

Paul

Thanks for the link 🙂 According to the seller the meter is fully working and is highly sensitive with out the baffle plate fitted , which as far as I can see from the manual sounds about right as the baffle plate is supplied for reflected light readings .

There's a man in California named George Milton who does nothing but light meter repair. Not only was he was able to overhaul my 1940s military-issue Weston Master II, he also sold me a like-new Invercone and instruction manual for it. If your meter works and you'd like to find those parts, I'd suggest him for your first enquiry. Same goes if it doesn't work but you'd like it to.

The gent is a real pro, and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
