Not A Poll: What Camera Will You Buy In The Next 12 Months?

Looking back to when the thread started ... Naah. Not worth it. That was an eon ago. There's been a lot of water under the bridge since then.

What I'd like to get in the next year is a Hasselblad CFV50c II back for my 500CM. They announced it just recently and it's supposed to be available by the end of the year or so. That way I can keep using the excellent equipment I own already and go fully digital capture with it when I want to. :)

Another Kodak Model 33A. For this one I'll take out the sliding block that converts the 5x7 format into two 3 1/2 x 5 frames and have a (limited draw) 5x7. Light & cheap for a 5x7.---alfredian

Back in 2010, I was going to buy a Fuji X100, however, it was delayed coming to market. Instead, I purchased a Canon G15 body and later I purchased a Fuji X-Pro1.

I have recently purchased a Fuji X-Pro2 to replace the X-Pro1 that I damaged.

For the next 12 months, I have no plans to purchase another camera.
 
I wouldn't mind going full-frame one day, but no way until someone starts making small manual focus medium-speed high quality lenses. You know... like I had with my Nikon F3. And yes I know Leica does this already, but definitely not ever going to be in my price range.

A few years ago, I purchased a Leica M10 with a 35mm f/1.4 lens. I had to return it because it did not perform to my satisfaction.
 
Considering replacing OnePlus 5 with Oppo Reno, but that would probably mean am using my real cameras even less :p

The reason I used this thread is because a lot has changed on this site in the last 9 years. I thought it would be fun to see how our tastes have changed...

A big changing point around the time of this thread was the beginning of mainstream mirrorless cameras and people talking about the Fuji X100 coming out. Sony wasn`t even talked about.
I know Fuji was single-handedly responsible for me no longer using a Leica M with the X100 and X-Pro.
 
I hope to add a Contura Stereo Camera to my shelf. This was an attempt at a very high end camera designed by the Father of the Stereo Realist, Seton Rochwite. Built under financial clouds, only 130 were completed, to satisfy investors in the failed enterprise. Very Very Pretty Camera!
 
Mamiya 6 kit, hopefully. Don't really want the 150mm, but the 50mm + 75mm would be a welcome set of lenses. Additionally, I want to grab the 90mm for the Hasselblad Xpan.
 
I'm well stocked on the 35mm RF department. Most likely a T3 with any lens or probably a Bronica SQ with some lens when December arrives.
 
In 2010 I jumped into Micro 4/3, buying both the Olympus EP1 and Panasonic G1. The Olympus got me interested in the older E-system and I ended up switching. The Olympus standard 4/3 gear was cheap at the time and the lenses were outstanding. The best thing was the gear was smaller and lighter than the Canon stuff I had been using since 1998. But in early 2016, I bought two Fuji XPro1s and had a sea change in equipment and working procedures. I've used nothing but Fuji gear ever since.

As for the next 12 months...nothing really planned at all. I've been considering the possibility to a full frame camera but it will be an older model. Possibly a Canon 5Dsomething so I can make use of the lenses I still have. Possibly a Sony A7something to be able to use the Zeiss 35/2.8 and 55/1.8 lenses. But probably nothing.

On second thought, what I might buy is a film scanner. I despised scanning when I was doing it in the past but I have tons of B&W negatives and slides from which I really would like to have prints made. So there's that.
 
Probably an M240 or M262. I’m pretty much covered for film, have top tier systems for everything between 16mm and 8x10.

Aside from a digital M I’ll be spending the photo budget on film/paper//darkroom hire (for colour printing)/travel.
 
A spare Konica Hexar RF in a good shape, in parallel to the one I already have.
Just to be on the safe side if...
