Well-known

The Yashica is their first model with this mount - it is a slightly modified version of the Pentamatic S, which had a bayonet lens mount. Yashica followed Edixa in their version of M42 - a Pentax lens fitted to this camera has the focus index mark just past the 12 o'clock position.
The Hanimex at the front was made by Petri, and the one at the back by Chinon or Cosina.

Too many? No.
You never know when you'll need a body for that amazing M42 lens you picked up for coffee money. My find was a Vivitar 55mm f2.8 Macro that focuses down to 1:1. A 605n fills the bill for my M42 finds.

The back Hanimex SLR looks exactly like my Chinon CS camera.
