after buying 2 xe2 bodies in quick succession (the second was at a pretty good price, on sale locally) i now have 2 xe1 bodies plus a an xm body sitting in an empty camera bag...wondering just what my next move might be.
i just want to shoot with the xe2 bodies...and the price for used xe1 bodies makes me think i should hang on to them...the xm is staying because i want the tilting screen at times...
i have to say that the xe2 with upgraded firmware is a very smooth machine to use...i think i could be happy with them for quite a while...
for those of you owning/shooting with multiple bodies, how are you set up? do you have a set shooting 'policy' or practice?

Presuming your lenses are listed below your post, you pretty much have it covered. I would keep the 35 and 56 on permanently and swap between the two wides on the other body as the occasion requires.

Depends on my mood and what I plan to shoot...
For anything that's moving or requires a lot of reach or macro, I use my D800e's.
For general purpose digital and/or if I feel like shooting IR, I reach for my IR-converted A7R.
For film, I reach for my ZI's.
The only body that I haven't used in a long time is my FM2N. Not sure yet, but I may end up selling it.

what?
My family / party snapshooter is a LX7 (I sold the X100 that had this job previously).
When I am out creating art (
) it's the XE1 with one of 10 or 11 lenses that are breeding in my storage bag.
With me, it's actually the lenses that drive my photographic moods.

i have the lenses under better control...
for one lens it's the 16...for 2 lenses it's the 16/35 or the 23/56...and sometimes i'll mix things up and take what i feel as a one lens day...
