I sent a Thorium Summicron to focalpoint to have the front element professionally polished and recoated. I will get a thread up with it. The glass is quite clear, little yellowing.Without a doubt, a pro job is better. It does amaze me that the $15 "cheese-wiz" stuff does so well.


I also have a "perfect glass" late collapsible Summicron, wide-open on the M8:
