It's an inspiring story that follows the hand-crafting of a single Steinway concert grand. Covers the wood selection in Sitka to the piano's destination at Carnegie Hall. And all the loving work in between.

Most relevant to this forum are interviews with pianists who talk about their relationship with their instruments. You will recognize what's said in the movie. You heard it here first.

Clearly, selection of the right tool and the best tool is absolutely crucial. but ya still gotta play it.

Not sure what Steinway pianos have to do with philosophy of photography, and I can't quite say I agree with your last point, but c'est la vie.

I'd explain (my view of) the relationship and the point; but I'm not sure that's the purpose of your comment. Perhaps if others inquire as well. . .
