This one really grabbed me!
i came from a city that was surrounded by massive mining dumps.
They had eroded and looked similar to these, i guess.
The fence so denying entry to a wasteland..

Your photo get stronger and stronger as hopefully your health.
I have just seen Dan Wagner's "Chicago Calling".
The square so maligned and disliked, can be a powerful statement.

We were in Italy recently on a tour--many of the sights you show we passed by--familiar things! One thing I really liked in the Italian countryside was the rail lines--the tracks themselves and the overhead catenary, especially the high speed lines. Would love to see your interpretation of the rails..if you are near them.
Also--we went by many Roman ruins that had been parted to make way for the modern roads..I was amazed. Please show us those, if you encounter them. Your work is superb, and thanks for sharing!

Thank you Leicapixie, much appreciated. There is really a wasteland beyond that fence, a damaged landscape for ever. I fully agree about square format: there is no limitation in composition in it, and everything seems more easy.

Thank you Paul for your kind words. Next photos will displayed a site with rail lines. I hope you will take a look... Those rural landscapes are located near Paestum, an ancient greek centre with temples and ruines. I have to do a diversion to reach it. It's a great idea: I will do it before the end of the project...
