I continue to really enjoy this project. Thanks so much for sharing it with all of us. Some of the photos in the series are quite compelling. Wonderful.
This is all film? 6x6? Rollei? Excellent quality whatever it is.

Luigi--I love 68 and 69--great shots! Thanks for showing the rail lines---wish the US would do the same...
Paul
Thank you Paul very much. They are become secondary rail lines but their impact on the landscape is always strong.

Thank you so much rfaspen. All the photos are taken with an old Olympus E-P2. I have chosen digital for this project to make all more easy and to concentrate myself on this sort of point-and-shoot.

Like two old and scratched faces talking to each other (eyelids halfway down). The windows being the eyes if you get what I mean.
I also like this series. Interesting to find out what comes out of the restrictions you have put on your photos - and yourself!

Luiman,
On so many levels this is a wonderful thread and journey.
The images are beautifully presented, and they have renewed my interest in landscape with the square format - so much so I went out and bought a Rollei!
Thank you.

Thank you emjo for the kind words. Strangely, I discovered that the more I imposed to myself some rules, I more can easily shoot.

Just caught up with this: Wonderful concept and you seem to be juxtaposing nature and human influences as you travel down the road. I know I just snuck in the back door, as it were, but I've enjoyed what I've seen on a quick look through and look forward to taking a more in-depth look at the images later. Keep up the project! Looking good!

Thank you ABrosig for the appreciated comment. I will continue the project with a pause on august. I don't still know if the second part will be the exact continuation of this one or a partially new project (ie same kind of images but a different camera or other). I will think about...

I have been away from the net for a short time and now back to this beautiful interesting thread. I usually love the shadow as part of the composition and therefore I like very much the 74 ! Great work, great result, I think you are correct: by imposing ourselves rules before it is easier to shoot (and edit) after.

Thank you Robert very much. I think I was able to start and pursue this project only thanks to these rules. Which is a good thing, on one hand; a limit in my capability to define a photographic project, on the other hand.
