A bit of an impulse buy, I bought my self an Olympus E-620 (Evolt in the US I think?), so anybody have any opinions on this camera? I find it nice and small, fold out screen makes it handy for low level and in a two lens kit it was coming in under £500!

My first DSLR was a E-400 three years ago. Size is great but I couldn't get used to the 4:3 format. You can switch to 3:2 but afaik only in jpg-mode and when using live-view. Olympus has quite good zoom lenses.

Damn good camera - I borrowed one to do some portraits, the bog standard kit lens (14-42ED) is really very good, probably out-performs anything else in the price range. I also like how all the info is presented on one screen, and the sensible size of the thing. Works very well wirh the FL36 flash unit. A wise purchase. :)
