Notifications - broken?

Hi guys

I know this has been happening in the past but I don't think it's been fixed; could somebody look into the issue of notifications not being send from the forum when a new post is written in a thread that I am observing?

It's frustrating Thanks a lot!

I'm having the same problem - I thought there was a toggle in the User CP to reset that, but nothing seems to work (of course, it could still be user error!)

I tested it by subscribing to a popular thread..... it works fine.
Check your email settings and look in your "Spam" box.
Maybe the notifications are being filtered away from your inbox.

they don't work for me neither, and never have been. No notifications in my spam folder neither
( have not been missing them terribly though, to find out if there had been new posts to subscribed threads I have been using 'quick links'>'today's post' instead )

I used to get thread post notifications all the time but it stopped in the past several months. My email has not changed since the day I registered.

I do however receive notifications for parent forum new threads.

I asked a similar question, here is the response. "subscribed notifications were disabled due to multiple notifications.
they will remain disabled until the next software upgrade
which should take place in the next 30 to 60 days.
