Carl: Wonderful. I want to borrow the Fujinon 240 some day.
Thanks Trius. Sure, the fujinon 240 is a pretty good lens. I don't use it as much as my 135, but when I need a little more reach the 240 is nice to have.

The new Kodak Portra 160 NC can produce some pretty punchy colors. If this is what NC can do I can't imagine the look of VC:

Great colors! I shoot pretty much only black and white (so all the fall color shots I took this season weren't the most vibrant, to say the least), and don't really know anything about color film, but I think I'll get my hands on a couple rolls of the new Portra.

My parents were in Ithica a month ago, and they said it was absolutely beautiful.

I also shoot mostly B&W, but the color film was free so I tried it. The fall foliage was a bit muted this year, but your parents are right and as our bumper stickers proclaim "Ithaca is Gorges".
